This project stands as a testament to the value of long-term architectural partnership. Our collaboration with these clients spans years and life stages, approaching their duplex not as a single renovation, but as a living masterplan executed in strategic phases.

The relationship began with the renovation of the upper private quarters. Years later, as their family expanded, they returned to us to transform the primary living level downstairs. This phase focused on unlocking a constricted layout to create a gracious flow for entertaining. We expanded a tucked-away kitchen into a culinary centerpiece, utilizing wall-to-wall custom cabinetry to maximize the footprint. This rigorous planning allowed us to deliver the client’s ultimate wish-list item—a showstopping Aga range—while strictly adhering to their budget.

We also achieved a technical victory by surgically rerouting existing building infrastructure to insert a new powder room where none existed before, grounding the entire floor in classic herringbone timber. The evolution concluded years later with a complete reimagining of the rear yard. Because we understood the home's DNA from the very first phase, we were able to seamlessly integrate each new chapter, proving that a dream home is often built not overnight, but over time.
